“Still round the corner, there may wait, a new road or a secret gate.” – J.R.R. Tolkien
Thanksgiving is going to be different than year’s past in 2021 for Amalia and I. This year we decided it was time to take a stroll down to see the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. We are so very excited for this trip, just like all of our previous trips in 2021. I know what you may be thinking, either we should start up a travel blog or start living on the road because it seems like were gone more than we are home. These experiences we have had this year have been amazing and we truly have lived our lives as close to the fullest as one can when working a full time job. I’m glad we were able to pull it off because we were able to prove to ourselves that experiencing life is much more important than material things. If you have the opportunity to travel and see the world, take advantage of it and enjoy yourself.
This month has already proven to be a very busy and fun one. This next trip nearing the end of November will be the sugar on top. I want to say this is our final trip for the year and our final “Out of office” for the blog but I can’t make any promises. The beauty of it is that we always still do a little something each day for the blog and always still come through with an item everyday, which is what this challenge is all about for us. December is a lot more calm, thankfully. However, I’d be lying if I said we were done with trips. I have small work trip, a small weekend getaway to NYC and a few weekend events. This is where I believe Amalia and I take the saying “get busy living or get busy dying.” This whole year we have been busy living and it has been a most memorable year, one that will be tough to follow. I would be lying if I said I could use a little bit of time to recuperate but
With family coming, the trip to Dallas about to happen and things to get done, I am going to run out of time this week sooner rather than later. I have made a decision to do one single sentence for the post the next few days followed by an item so I can make the most out my time. So enjoy it and be sure to make the most out of your time around the holidays as well. I plan on making the most out of my sentences. We will be writing again on the weekend, have great Thanksgiving! Go Cowboys!

Today’s daily decluttered item is some trash from the junk drawer. Items I’ve never used waiting for their time to go. Go clean out your junk drawer too!
