“Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside while still alive. Never surrender.” – Tupac Shakur
“Life is a true blessing and when things get dark, remember what you have to bring you back into the light.” – Amalia O’Brien Thomas
Just writing a little F U to COVID today… it’s been almost two years since this crazy virus has taken over in the U.S. Everyone has been talking so much about COVID the last year that everyone has started to move on and talk about other things as well as go about their usual lives. Well, even though we are vaccinated, people are still getting sick. The hospitals are still full. People are still dying. I experienced another loss today of another soul that COVID has snatched too early.
Many of us have experienced loss throughout COVID and it doesn’t get any easier. I’ve lost a few people now and it’s a lot to endure. It’s changed my outlook on so many things these past two years. Mentally it’s been tough. We’ve been cooped up inside and have had nothing but time to think. It can wear on you the whole thinking thing… I keep telling myself that there will be an end to it eventually. Have to stay positive and keep moving forward! Like today’s quote from the greatest, Tupac, you can’t give up on yourself while you’re living. To which he gave me inspiration today to write my own quote.
It’s important to get help if needed and start new hobbies! TJ and I started minimalism everyday to start the year off with a fresh start, what will you do to keep you going? P.S. – Again, COVID can suck it!
Item 283 of 360+
Today’s item is a Stitch shirt I had for a Disney trip that I never really wore again. No need keeping it in the closet to take up space.
