“A goal without a timeline is just a dream.” – Robert Herjavec
I’m sure we aren’t the only ones making the Olympics a part of our nightly wind-down routine lately. The summer Olympics are always a fun time to watch, but I feel that they are especially special this year. To be an amazing athlete still and continuing to practice during the pandemic brings a whole new light to how incredible these athletes are. Having the Olympics this year brings a sense of normalcy back too which brings excitement to our once boring lives which were last year.
These athletes work so hard towards a goal and it makes me think about my goals. What are my goals? Do I have any or want to add new ones? I realized that I don’t really have many… or at all. Career wise or personally, I don’t really have any goals. I have thought about things but haven’t made any efforts to actually be serious about them. The gears have already been turning in my head about things I might want to strive for myself. No matter what your age or where you’re at with life, you can always set new goals for yourself. As you continue to watch the Olympics, maybe start thinking about your own goals and how you can make efforts towards making them happen.
