Let’s name the five daily focus points again to recap from Post/Day 185. My five daily things I want to do everyday are exercise, a to-do, writing the daily post, personal time and preparation for the next day. This is what a balanced life at least for me and at least for how my life has been this year. Live, learn and adjust accordingly of course. So I have talked plenty about exercise before, getting some sort of movement in helps you with your health and it’s something I strive to do everyday. This leaves us with the next focus which is a to-do. Now remember to-do lists are great but you I find myself writing more down then actually doing. This is why I have been trying to set a goal for myself every day/morning of at least one to-do to cross off everyday. For example, last night we put our new bed frame together and today I cut the grass. I also got my hair cut as well today, so the cut tasks are now off my to-do list. It’s a good feeling for two reasons. One, you got something you wanted / needed to do accomplished today. Two, you’re not overwhelmed, I didn’t give myself a bunch of things to do after a long work day, instead I gave myself a simple task. It helps with finding the time to do everything else I want to do in the day. This way I can save the bigger to-dos or the multiple to-do days for the weekend.

Today’s decluttered item is some tanning stuff from Amalia. I think she did some cleaning out and realized she no longer needed it anymore. This was taking up unnecessary space and it’s nice to get rid of it.
