“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.” – Aristotle
“Successful people are simply those with successful habits.” -Brian Tracy
It’s time to ask ourselves some questions. Today’s topic is habits, a very important part of everyday life for each person.
Q1: What’s your best daily habits?
The first thing that comes to mind is exercising. I do take some rest days but it is definitely a habit. I call it a habit because I keep going to the gym and/or staying active through adventure or sports. In relation to the posts, it has become a daily habit to write a blog which has been a very interesting journey and challenge for us. My favorite part about the blog is coming up with a subject and then finding applicable quotes. There are a lot of inspirational and motivational quotes on the subjects we discuss. It makes our blogs easier to write by seeing what others think about the same subject. My last daily habit is just communication with loved ones and friends. I try to make sure to reach out to my mom/dad everyday, whether if its a hello or something silly. With my friends, it ranges from daily to weekly to monthly depending on what’s going on. What are some of your daily habits that create the most positivity and/or productivity in your life? Let us know, sharing helps everyone.
Q2: What’s your worst daily habits?
Overall, I have done a great job at stopping bad habits this year. My worst daily habit is probably time wasted from social media and games. I still catch myself doing the endless scroll from time to time and it bothers me but its very hard to not do it. Regardless, I should try better to stop it and I did get a tip from a friend recently. I was talking about deleting my Facebook and he said I’d be better off just deleting the app from my phone. Now I have taken a break from it before but I have never done this and it does sound intriguing. It’s something I will most likely do soon enough. In general, the worst thing I do daily and everyone does daily, is waste time. It ranges from procrastinating before going to the gym to surfing the web instead of sleeping. The best thing I try to do is balance everything, it’s not the easiest nor does it work all of the time but it’s the best I can do. What are some examples of your bad habits and how do you pan to remedy them?
Item 131 of 360+
Today’s item is a set of apple towels and heat mats/pads. We thought it would be best to show off our love of Apple products by getting these for our kitchen. I am only kidding of course, there is nothing wrong with these but we just don’t need them anymore nor do we use them anymore, so they are a perfect candidate for decluttering.
