Day 100 – Learning to Walk

“One step at a time is good walking.” – Anonymous Proverb

Wow, I think we can finally say that we officially learned how to walk. Step by step, day by day, we have decluttered one item for 100 straight days. It really is such an amazing feeling for us to work towards a life with less stuff and more meaning. I think the biggest part of this for me is getting rid of those “I’ll get around to it eventually” items. All of the clothes we don’t wear anymore, the collectibles sitting in boxes, the items we don’t use anymore, the items your thinking of giving to charity or selling on eBay… all of these are what feels the best to declutter appropriately. The first 100 is a big accomplishment for us and I am so very happy of what we have done so far. We are not stopping now as the journey continues on our goal to reach 360 items by the end of 2021. We still don’t know what the future holds for us after this year but for now we are just living in the moment and happy that we have learned to walk with no expectation of stopping nor running.

Item 100 of 360+

For the 100th item, drum roll please, we will be decluttering my Playstation 3 console. Many fun memories with this bad boy. My original PS3 got the yellow ring of death is no longer with us today but this was the replacement and served me well. While having the PS4 and PS5 still there really is no longer a need to keep this around so I plan on selling it. If you have something like this and it’s collecting dust, the best thing you can do is get around to it and sell it. Happy 100 to us and thank you for sticking with us through the journey.
