Day 73 – Glass Half Full

“Sometimes the best thing to do is pretend it didn’t happen.” – Candace Bushnell

“The only thing a golfer needs is more daylight”. – Ben Hogan

You don’t lose an hour if you pretend it didn’t happen. In fact, all that is left is positives then, more sunlight at the end of our days for soon to be long summer nights. I really did pretend like Daylight Savings Time didn’t happen this morning by accident because I completely forgot about it. This is, as Bob Ross would say, a happy little accident. Last night I set my alarm for my usual wake up time and completely disregarded Daylight Savings Time. Instead of getting around 8 hours of sleep, I instead got 7 but I’m thankful for it. I picked getting up at this time in the morning so I could have enough time for breakfast and a gym workout before a day with Amalia’s side of our family making homemade raviolis in preparation for Easter.

This is a lesson, you can’t control what happens around you but you can control how you deal with it. Now that the hour has past and I have written this post on the high stepper at the gym, all that is left is sunshine which is more time for golf, bike rides, and adventure. In an alternate reality, Ned Stark would say “summer is coming.” This post was brought to you by 1.5 miles on the high stepper, get outside and soak in some of the sun.

Item 073 of 360+

Today’s item is another Supernatural Funko Pop. This is one of the more rare pops as it is a more limited edition version of Dean in his FBI full suit attire. This is Dean Winchester’s tryout for Men in Black in Pop form. All that is missing is some black shades. I know this will end up in a good home to a worthy collector to show it off.

The title today is fitting for a Dean Winchester pop. Glass Half Full is one of the t-shirts sold at one of my favorite breweries named “Family Business”. You may ask, so how does that connect with Dean Winchester? Well, Dean Winchester is played by Mr. Jensen Ackles who is part owner of Family Business Brewery located in Dripping Springs, Texas. I was lucky enough to get there one time a few years ago and I can’t wait to go there again, a very nice place to sit and have a drink. So this one is for you Dean, Jensen, and your Family Business.
