Day 39 – Start Strong

“Mondays are the start of the work week which offer new beginnings 52 times a year!” – David Dweck

Hello from Amalia and thanks for reading this motivational Monday post (Assuming you’ll read past the first sentence). Monday’s are the perfect day to start your week off right. So let’ start with a question, in which ways can you make your week good? Well, this can look different for everyone. For me, a good start to my week consists of getting ahead of the laundry piles, preparing healthy foods for dinners, being active, reaching out to someone I haven’t talked to in a while, and getting my work done at the office as well as in the house. It’s important to be satisfied with the start of your week because this will likely shape what the rest of your week will be like. Getting on top of the laundry or work in the office will help you feel less stressed out and enjoy your days better. TJ touched on this a bit with his procrastination post and it can go hand in hand with neglecting tasks in your life. However, getting a good start to your week is a little different than procrastination.

Getting a head start is more like preventing procrastination whereas starting off a week well can include not only tasks you need to do, but also incorporating the things you like to do as well. Getting ahead like this can help get your chores and tasks done as well as give you the time to enjoy your hobbies and spend time with your loved ones. So start your week off right and think about the fun things you want to work into your week this week rather than just trying to keep your head above water.

Item 039 of 360+

Today’s item is TJ’s Adidas pants. Someone will get good use out of these especially during the colder months. We hope some of these items will spark your own ideas of things you may not need anymore that someone else could use. Thanks for stopping by and we hope to have you again tomorrow.
